The Rotary theme for the month of September is basic education and literacy.

 Having a good education and literacy skills opens many doors. This is evident by the strong support for education and literacy throughout the district. Yet we have seen technology become a huge part of our lives. The debate becomes does technology make our lives better. We have seen the growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in our society. Like a science fiction novel or movie, we wonder if AI will take over human beings. I decided to see what AI could do with a couple of questions I posed to it. I asked AI how basic education and literacy benefit people and the answers are below. Enjoy the 3rd month in the Rotary year.
