The annual District 7120 Oratorical contest was held Saturday, March 2nd at Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC). There were nine participants who gave speeches based on the Rotary 4-Way Test. The top three winners will receive scholarships to participating colleges. The remaining recipients will receive a $100 check from District 7120 for their participation.
Opening remarks were made by Janet Tenreiro, District Governor Nominee Designate and Gloria Dancause, Contest Chair.
The first place winner was Margaux Eller and second place Michael Eller. The Ellers are siblings from the Seneca Falls Rotary. Third place winner Andrew Hazell is from the Hilton Rotary. The other participants were Emareilys Rodriguez and Jaidalisse DeJesus both from the Rochester Latino Rotary, Jasmine Kiley and Jessica Dawson from the Penfield Rotary, Meredith Conklin-Bloomfield Rotary, Rachel Mahoney-Seneca Falls Rotary
