RYLA Non-Discrimination Policy
RYLA is committed to providing all students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, or sexual orientation in any of its activities or operations.
RYLA is an intense and incredibly challenging leadership program, sponsored by Rotary District 7120 and has been designed to engender passion, resilience, determination, mental toughness, gratitude and compassion. In addition, the program will instill in the participants the value of Service above Self, a core Rotary belief.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in a character building program which focus on leadership, effective communication, trust and cooperation. Personal commitments and shared insights are the goal and you will gain an increased sense of confidence in yourselves and in your team.
If you are selected to participate, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas about current issues and discuss leadership and personal development with knowledgeable local and regional leaders including many District Rotarians.

THE COST IS $750 PER STUDENT
The Next RYLA Camp will be held from June 25 -June 29, 2023 at FLCC Canandaigua Campus
ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE TYPED - NO HANDWRITTEN APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED
Print out two copies, have your sponsoring Rotary Club President sign it and mail one copy to Julie Carney (WITH PAYMENT)

The RYLA programs are designed to develop leadership skills which will be beneficial to the candidate in future endeavors. A sampling of the activities to be expected are:
- Leadership training classes with hands on projects
- Team and trust building activities
- Program projects
- Diversity awareness discussion group
- Personal safety
- Discussion group sessions on goal setting
- Personal challenges
- Self confidence building activities
