In The History of Rotary, Bill Gormont, Past District Governor, District International Service Director, and Strategic Action Planning Committee Chair, takes audiences on a fascinating journey through Rotary’s origins, evolution, and global impact.

Explore the life and vision of Paul Harris, the early meetings that gave birth to Rotary, its original public service project, the first Rotary International Convention, the origins of The Four-Way Test, and the genesis of The Rotary Foundation.. The presentation continues into Rotary’s modern era of international service, global partnerships, and humanitarian projects.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of who we are, where we came from, and why Rotary matters today—helping make their Rotary experience more meaningful, rewarding, and fun.

Bill is a professional member of the National Speakers Association and available for in-person or virtual presentations throughout District 7120. He can accommodate morning, lunch, or dinner meetings, Monday through Friday, with presentation lengths ranging from 20 to 30 minutes. Advance scheduling of one month or more is preferred.
